Email & Outreach Policy

Effective date: March 2026 · Pistachio Studio Pty Ltd

Purpose

This policy defines how Pistachio communicates with subscribers, clients, and prospective clients to ensure all email activity is transparent, consent-based, and compliant with global anti-spam and anti-abuse standards including the Australian Spam Act 2003, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL.

About Pistachio

Pistachio is a B2B growth agency that helps founders and marketing teams build brands, grow audiences, and create content systems that drive business results. It is operated by Pistachio Studio Pty Ltd (ABN 41 679 669 017), a registered Australian company, and sends communications from the pistachio.so domain.

Our Commitments

Consent-based communications

All recipients of Pistachio newsletter and marketing communications have actively opted in to receive them. We do not add anyone to our mailing lists without a prior subscription or demonstrated engagement with our content. Unengaged contacts are automatically removed on a rolling basis.

Controlled audience development outreach

Pistachio and its related publications may occasionally work with a third-party partner to introduce editorial content to professionally relevant individuals in compliant jurisdictions. Such introductory communications are strictly editorial in nature, include a clear unsubscribe mechanism, and are sent only to US-based addresses independently screened by our partner for deliverability and compliance. Only recipients who demonstrate genuine engagement are subsequently added to any mailing list.

No abusive or bulk unsolicited spam

Pistachio does not send bulk unsolicited email to its subscriber base. Any individual business communications from pistachio.so staff are strictly one-to-one, low-volume, and contextually relevant. We do not use deceptive subject lines, misleading sender information, or disguised promotional content.

Instant unsubscribe and permanent suppression

Every marketing or newsletter communication includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribe requests are honoured immediately and permanently. Unsubscribed contacts are added to a permanent suppression list and are never contacted again. Bounces and spam complaints are automatically removed and suppressed.

Active list hygiene

We regularly review and remove inactive, unengaged, invalid, and undeliverable addresses from our active mailing list. New signups are validated before being added.

Authenticated, secure infrastructure

All bulk or newsletter email sent from pistachio.so uses authenticated infrastructure with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC fully configured and enforced. We use no misleading sender names, no deceptive subject lines, and no attachments in bulk sends.

No third-party or affiliate senders

No affiliate, reseller, partner, or third party is authorised to send email that advertises, references, or links to pistachio.so without prior written authorisation and compliance with this policy. All email activity is conducted directly by Pistachio Studio Pty Ltd.

Ongoing monitoring

Domain reputation, deliverability metrics, complaint rates, and bounce rates are reviewed on a regular basis. Any issue identified triggers an immediate internal review and corrective action.
